Budding Landscapes is a small local landscaping business that sets itself apart from corporate competitors with friendly customer service and eco-conscious practices. They approached me for a brand identity that would set them apart from the masses and that their employees would be proud to represent.

In particular, they really wanted a mascot. We explored a number of animals and objects that could represent the brand, finally landing on an oak leaf and acorn, representing the way that landscaping takes something small and helps it grow.

From there, I built out a colour palette, logo variations, typography, tone of voice, social post templates and branded apparel to give this growing business everything it needs to hit the ground running.
