how do you sell a solution to people who don’t know they have a problem?
Generative AI has made sophisticated identity fraud easier to scale - and harder to spot. Once the tools of the few, techniques like deepfakes, synthetic media and pre-recorded video attacks are now cheap and easy ways to bypass standard verification systems.
Incode are at the forefront of defensive technology designed to detect and stop these attacks. The problem is that many of the organisations most vulnerable to them don’t yet realise how advanced - or how prevalent - these fraudsters have become.
Today’s deepfakes can be so convincing, you may not even realise you’re looking at one.

This film was created for Incode’s annual Vision showcase, where the company presents its latest technology to stakeholders and prospective enterprise clients.
Unlike a social media or website video, we had a captive audience: senior leaders who had chosen to attend the event and were actively looking to learn about new developments in identity verification and fraud prevention. That gave us the opportunity to explore the topic in greater depth than a typical short-form piece would allow.
the challenge
The challenge was to use that attention wisely: making the threat posed by fraudsters feel tangible and immediate, before positioning Incode’s solutions as the most comprehensive defence.
We were also aware that a vast screen, surround sound, and dynamic lighting would all contribute to the atmosphere. The script needed to build excitement and anticipation while remaining clear, structured and easy to follow for an audience of senior decision-makers - especially considering they wouldn’t be able to rewind or watch the film a second time like they would be able to if it were online.
This was one of five films introducing Incode’s major product offerings during the event. The others cannot be publicly shown due to the sensitive nature of the technologies involved.
